Job Overview:
A law firm located in Township of Brick, NJ, is seeking a Family Law Attorney with at least 2 years of experience (3-5 years preferred). The attorney will be responsible for handling all aspects of family law cases from start to finish. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently, and possess sound judgment. Duties:

  • Manage family law cases from initiation to completion.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in divorce, custody, support, and other family law matters.
  • Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
  • Appear in court for hearings, trials, and conferences.
  • Negotiate settlements and provide strategies for case resolution.
  • Maintain strong communication with clients throughout the legal process.
  • Manage multiple cases simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law (3-5 years preferred).
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of New Jersey.
  • Ability to work independently and handle cases from start to finish.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Self-starter with a proactive approach to client management and case development.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Licensed to practice in the state of New Jersey.
