Duties:

  • Conduct initial client consultations to assess case viability and provide legal advice.
  • Review documentation, evidence, and client information to determine case merits.
  • Collaborate with the Client Relations team and internal attorneys to provide guidance on potential cases.
  • Communicate empathetically with clients, building strong rapport and understanding.
  • Assist in developing and implementing a client-focused sales approach to increase case intake.
  • Navigate challenges and unexpected developments with a positive and resilient attitude.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in relevant laws, regulations, and best practices affecting client relations and sales procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards in all client interactions.
  • Use firm’s technology and case management systems to track client interactions and case details.
  • Work closely with external parties, including referral law firms, to gather additional information and support clients.
  • Maintain relationships within the community to support the firm’s brand recognition and marketing efforts.
  • Travel as needed for client meetings and other firm-related events.

Requirements:

  • Active membership with the NC State Bar (membership with other state bars is a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to provide empathetic, client-centered legal advice.
  • 0-3 years of experience in personal injury law preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-based environment.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a focus on active listening and relationship building.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with a focus on driving outcomes for clients.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership with the North Carolina State Bar.
  • Additional state bar memberships, particularly in South Carolina, are a plus.
