Construction Defect Associate Attorney

A law firm in Santa Ana, CA, seeks a skilled Construction Defect Associate Attorney with 1-6 years of experience. The candidate will handle construction defect cases and provide legal support to clients in this specialized area of law.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis about construction defect cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, motions, discovery requests/responses, and settlement agreements.
• Assist in case strategy development and client consultations.
• Represent clients in mediation sessions and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case management and strategy.
• Review construction contracts, building codes, and relevant documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and investigations related to construction defect claims.
• Maintain effective communication with clients, opposing counsel, and other involved parties.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the State Bar of California.
• 1-6 years of experience practicing law, preferably focusing on construction defect litigation.
