Duties

  • Assist clients in navigating regulatory and administrative proceedings involving public utilities.
  • Focus on complex issues impacting electric and gas services, as well as pipeline regulation.
  • Provide guidance on the rates and regulation of utilities and non-utility electric generators.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare documentation for federal and state regulatory compliance.
  • Engage in the preparation and review of filings, testimonies, and other regulatory documents.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies for clients in the energy and utilities sectors.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory developments and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Interest or experience in public utility regulatory matters, with up to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong academic performance in law school, showcasing an aptitude for regulatory work.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality, business-oriented legal advice to sophisticated clients.
