Job Title: Transactional Attorney

Job Overview:

A well-established law firm located in Annapolis, MD, is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join its Corporate and Commercial Real Estate Transactions practice. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate law, and financial transactions. The firm is particularly interested in candidates with experience representing lenders and handling transactional closings.

Duties:

  • Handle commercial real estate transactions, corporate legal matters, and financial deals.
  • Represent clients in lender transactions and manage the closing process.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide variety of legal documents including contracts and agreements related to real estate and corporate transactions.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on complex transactional matters.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and external parties to ensure the smooth execution of transactions.

Requirements:

  • 0-4 years of experience in commercial real estate, corporate law, and financial transactions.
  • Experience in lender representation and managing closings.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and drafting skills.
  • Strong client-service orientation.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Maryland Bar (D.C. Bar and/or VA Bar preferred but not required).

Skills:

  • Superior legal drafting and contract negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
