Associate Attorney needed for Harrisburg office

Job Overview: A well-established Pennsylvania law firm is seeking a skilled Associate Attorney to join its Harrisburg office. This full-time position supports three distinct practice areas: Employment Law and Civil/Commercial Litigation, Business and Tax Law (including Estate Planning and Estates), and Family Law. The ideal candidate will bring substantial experience, particularly in litigation and courtroom skills, and be prepared to manage a demanding caseload.

Location:

• Harrisburg, PA

Duties:

• Represent clients in Employment Law, Civil/Commercial Litigation, Business and Tax Law, Estate Planning, Estates, and Family Law
• Manage client cases from inception through resolution, including court appearances, legal research, and drafting of documents
• Provide strategic counsel to clients in complex legal matters across the specified practice areas
• Collaborate with paralegal and administrative support staff to maximize efficiency and ensure thorough case preparation
• Participate actively in firm-related cases and support the firm’s case origination and development efforts

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation and practice areas relevant to Employment Law, Business and Tax Law, Estate Planning, Estates, and Family Law
• Demonstrated courtroom experience with strong litigation and advocacy skills
• Ability to handle a demanding caseload independently and with efficiency

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Pennsylvania Bar License (required)

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
