Job Overview:

A prominent law firm based in Austin, TX is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring 3-5 years of litigation experience and a passion for working across a variety of practice areas. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex legal matters, including property owners association law, insurance defense, real estate disputes, construction law, bankruptcy, and corporate governance.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in litigation cases, primarily focused on property owners association law, insurance defense, and construction defect litigation.
  • Manage cases involving real estate, business disputes, and corporate regulatory compliance.
  • Draft, review, and revise contracts, corporate documents, and real estate agreements.
  • Provide legal counsel to businesses, individuals, and property owners associations.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations, arbitration, and trial preparation.
  • Perform legal research, case analysis, and strategy development.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on complex cases.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant litigation experience in Texas civil litigation.
  • Proven track record of handling complex legal matters in diverse areas of litigation.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Strong work ethic and a collaborative approach to legal challenges.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Texas (Required).
