A respected law firm is seeking a mid- to senior-level Private Wealth Associate Attorney to join their Private Wealth Group within the Tax Practice in Cleveland, Ohio. This role involves working on complex trusts and estates matters, tax analysis, and client advising. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in private wealth management and a strong ability to manage projects and interact with clients.

Duties

  • Prepare and draft complex trusts and estate planning documents.
  • Conduct detailed research and tax analysis for private wealth clients.
  • Advise clients on choice of entity formation (LLC, partnership, S-corp, etc.) and governance.
  • Prepare and review gift and estate tax returns.
  • Manage multiple projects and interface directly with clients to provide strategic counsel.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in trusts, estates, and private wealth management.
  • Proven ability to handle complex estate planning and tax matters.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to interact effectively with clients.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited and nationally recognized law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Ohio State Bar, or eligibility to waive into Ohio.
