Casualty Associate Attorney

A law firm in Roseland, NJ, is seeking a Casualty Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will handle a caseload of casualty matters, including personal injury and property damage cases. Duties:

• Manage a caseload of casualty matters, including personal injury and property damage cases.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to casualty law.
• Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and briefs.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, and other court proceedings.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and insurance representatives.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and litigation tactics.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in casualty law.
• Admission to the New Jersey Bar.
• Strong litigation skills, including experience with motion practice and courtroom appearances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Education and Certifications:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
