A law firm in San Antonio, TX, is seeking an experienced Trial Attorney Manager to lead their litigation team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of trial experience, preferably in personal injury, and possess strong management skills with experience in overseeing plaintiff or defense litigation and trial teams. Duties:

  • Manage and supervise trial attorneys and litigation staff
  • Develop case strategies and trial plans
  • Oversee trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence gathering
  • Monitor case budgets and ensure cost-effective litigation management
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide mentorship to trial attorneys
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and firm policies
  • Represent clients in complex and high-profile cases as needed
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment
  • Participate in firm-wide strategic planning and decision-making

 

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of trial experience, with a preference for personal injury trial experience
  • Proven track record in managing plaintiff or defense litigation
  • Experience managing trial lawyers and teams
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Texas
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and client advocacy skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple cases

 

Certifications:

  • Board Certification in relevant areas of law (preferred)
  • Membership in relevant professional organizations (e.g., Texas Trial Lawyers Association)

 

Skills:

  • Thorough understanding of trial procedures, legal standards, and case law
  • Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
