A law firm seeks a skilled Healthcare Regulatory Associate to join its growing team in New York. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in high-impact work within a dynamic, multidisciplinary healthcare practice. The ideal candidate will provide strategic legal counsel, regulatory analysis, and transactional support for clients across the healthcare industry.

Duties

  • Advise on healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity deals.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate healthcare transactions and operations contracts.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with health care regulations, including fraud and abuse laws, value-based care models, and antitrust concerns.
  • Guide state licensure, corporate governance, and corporate practice of medicine/fee-splitting rules.
  • Assist with structuring innovative deal arrangements for a variety of healthcare entities.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address client needs effectively and strategically.

Requirements

  • 3-6 years of experience in healthcare transactional law, including mergers, acquisitions, and private equity transactions.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse laws, corporate practice of medicine rules, and healthcare antitrust regulations.
  • Strong interest in emerging healthcare trends and legal challenges.
  • Bar membership in good standing in New York or eligibility to obtain it.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active bar membership in New York or another jurisdiction, with eligibility for admission to New York.
