Job Duties:

  • Open new files and initiate initial client contact, maintaining regular communication throughout the case.
  • Conduct thorough investigations, gather and analyze intake information, and review relevant documents.
  • Enter case details into the firm's database and maintain accurate records.
  • Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining ongoing contact with insurance companies.
  • Managed clients' medical care, including scheduling appointments and explaining procedures and documentation.
  • Continuously monitor case status, review medical records, and stay updated on developments.
  • Organize and maintain case files, preparing them for submission to demand writers or other parties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience practicing Workers' Compensation law.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Strong customer service, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail and practical problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster relationships with clients, associates, and vendors.
  • Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Uphold confidentiality with sensitive client information.
  • Comfort with extended periods of phone-based communication.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
