Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney

A law firm is seeking an Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney for their Columbia, MD office. The Estates and Trusts Associate Attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel and support in estate planning matters, including drafting sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary documents.

Duties:

• Draft sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on estate planning matters.
• Assist clients with estate administration and probate proceedings.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on estate planning strategies.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex estate planning cases.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations in estate planning matters.

Requirements:

• Strong writing and oral communication skills.
• Excellent research and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.

Experience:

1-3 years of experience drafting sophisticated wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, and ancillary

documents.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Bar admission in a relevant jurisdiction.
