Job Title: Junior Associate Attorney

The successful candidate will engage in various stages of litigation, from discovery to trial preparation, while providing critical support to clients dealing with personal injury matters.

Duties:

• Draft and respond to discovery requests and motions.
• Conduct legal research and prepare various litigation documents.
• Assist in preparing for and taking depositions.
• Attend hearings in state and federal courts as required.
• Support Lead Attorneys in managing caseloads to ensure timely case progress.
• Prepare for and participate in second chair trials.
• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including those involving auto accidents, premises liability, and insurance disputes.
• Draft and send demand letters to insurance companies across multiple states.
• Negotiate claims and settlements with insurance companies.
• Prepare and file civil lawsuits on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

• Active California legal license (candidates with pending licenses will also be considered).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Strong research, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California (license pending is also acceptable).
