Duties

  • Assist in the execution of complex real estate transactions, including financing, acquisitions, sales, commercial real estate development, and leasing.
  • Contribute to the coordination of asset-based lending, tax credit transactions, and joint ventures.
  • Handle closings of real estate financing, acquisitions, and leasing agreements.
  • Support real estate financing transactions, including mortgage loans, securitized loans, construction loans, and mezzanine loans.
  • Perform due diligence, research, and draft legal documents related to transactions.
  • Collaborate with partners, clients, and third-party vendors (e.g., title companies, surveyors) on various real estate matters.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of commercial real estate transactional experience.
  • Previous law firm experience is required.
  • Strong title and survey review skills.
  • Ability to draft and negotiate complex real estate documents, including development agreements, purchase and sale contracts, leasing agreements, and financing documents.
  • Experience coordinating transactions with third-party vendors, such as title companies and surveyors, is preferred.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Missouri and in good standing.
