Duties:

• Represent clients in all stages of trial, from pre-litigation to post-verdict
• Handle complex personal injury and maritime cases, providing exceptional legal counsel and advocacy
• Conduct legal research and prepare compelling legal documents, motions, and pleadings
• Negotiate settlements and engage in mediation proceedings
• Manage and execute full trial preparation, including jury trial experience
• Provide strategic legal guidance to clients, ensuring clear communication and expectations
• Maintain a high standard of professional conduct and client relations
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure optimal case outcomes

Requirements:

• 6-15 years of experience in trial litigation, specifically in personal injury and maritime law
• Active membership with the Florida Bar and admission to the Southern District Trial Bar
• Proven ability to manage and litigate complex cases, with at least 10 jury trials to verdict in Circuit Court
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Extensive trial experience and confidence in courtroom settings
• Civil Trial Board Certification and Maritime/Admiralty Board Certification are a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Florida Bar Admission
• Southern District Trial Bar Admission
• Civil Trial Board Certification (preferred)
• Maritime/Admiralty Board Certification (preferred)
