Duties:

• Represent clients in complex commercial litigation cases, handling all aspects of litigation from inception through trial
• Provide counsel on business disputes, corporate matters, and transactional issues
• Develop strategies to effectively resolve cases through negotiation, arbitration, or litigation
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Engage in all stages of discovery, including depositions and interrogatories
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to deliver comprehensive legal services to clients
• Maintain and manage a high-volume caseload with a strong focus on client service and results

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience in complex commercial litigation
• Proven trial skills and experience handling litigation matters from start to finish
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an emphasis on clear and concise legal writing

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois
