Duties:

• Draft, review, and manage pleadings, discovery documents, briefs, memos, and other litigation-related documents.
• Analyze medical records and conduct legal research.
• Represent clients in court and at hearings.
• Participate in depositions, conferences, and other procedural aspects of litigation.
• Work closely with medical experts and client representatives.
• Provide strategic legal advice to clients.
• Manage case timelines and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice in New York.
• A minimum of 2-7 years of experience in medical malpractice or healthcare litigation.
• Proficiency in legal research, writing, and verbal communication.
• Ability to interact with clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and address issues efficiently.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
