Attorney needed for Charleston office

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel to clients by analyzing their needs and determining an appropriate course of action.
• Handle a caseload of 100+ personal injury cases, managing each from inception to resolution.
• Work with support staff to ensure a top-tier client experience.
• Negotiate and resolve pre-suit cases in a timely manner to achieve optimal results.
• Advise clients on available options and develop a plan for successful outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with clients, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the process.
• Represent clients in court when necessary, advocating for their best interests.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members on case strategies.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in personal injury law.
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the South Carolina Bar.
• Trial experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with Litify or similar legal software is a plus.
• Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle a high volume of cases while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Bar admission in South Carolina (required).

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing and research skills.
• Strong negotiation and client management skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively.
• Trial preparation and court representation experience.
• Proficiency in legal software, including Litify, is a plus.
