A respected law firm is seeking an experienced and motivated Associate Attorney to join their team in Staten Island, NY. Location:

Duties:

  • Provide expert legal counsel in elder law, estate planning, probate, and tax-related matters
  • Manage complex trust and estate administration, including high-value estates and intricate trust structures
  • Handle probate matters, addressing complex estate and trust issues
  • Represent clients in litigation related to probate, trust disputes, and other estate matters
  • Stay informed of legal developments to ensure optimal client service
  • Build long-term relationships with clients through professionalism and personalized service

Requirements:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (NJ and FL Bar admission is a plus)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in elder law, estate planning, probate, and tax planning
  • Proven experience with complex trust and estate administration, probate, and litigation
  • Proficiency in LEAP legal software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining long-term client relationships
  • Must reside in the Staten Island area or nearby

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar (Required)
  • NJ and FL Bar admission (Preferred)

Skills:

  • Elder law and estate planning expertise
  • Experience in complex estate and trust administration
