Junior Business and Real Estate Partner

A law firm in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Junior Business and Real Estate Partner with 5+ years of experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in transactions, business law, or probate, with the ability to manage a variety of legal matters. The role will primarily focus on business and real estate transactions, with some involvement in commercial litigation. Job Responsibilities:

• Handle business transactions, including drafting and negotiating contracts, advising on corporate governance, and managing mergers and acquisitions.
• Provide legal counsel on real estate transactions, including property acquisitions, leasing agreements, and real estate development projects.
• Offer legal guidance on probate matters, assisting clients with estate planning, will administration, and trust formation.
• Participate in a minor amount of commercial litigation, including disputes related to business and real estate matters.
• Draft and review legal documents, including agreements, contracts, leases, wills, and trusts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, offering strategic advice on business law and real estate law issues.
• Collaborate with other partners and associates to manage cases, delegate tasks, and meet client deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in business law, real estate law, and probate law.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and court proceedings when necessary.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, with a focus on business law, real estate law, or probate.
• Strong interest in transactions, business law, or probate matters.
• Some experience or willingness to participate in commercial litigation.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
• A positive attitude and collaborative mindset, with a desire to work in a team-oriented environment.
• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Florida State Bar is required.

Certifications (Preferred):
