Job Overview: A prestigious law firm is seeking a highly skilled Project Finance Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in transactional law. This position is based in Orlando, FL, and offers a dynamic opportunity to work on renewable energy project finance transactions, with a focus on representing lenders and tax equity investors. Duties:

  • Advise and represent clients, including lenders and tax equity investors, in renewable energy project finance transactions.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents, including financing agreements, partnership agreements, and related contracts.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence and prepare comprehensive reports on project risk and feasibility.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution of transactions.
  • Manage and support the transaction lifecycle from initial structuring through to closing.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and legal developments impacting renewable energy projects.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project finance, with a focus on renewable energy transactions.
  • Strong experience representing lenders and/or tax equity investors in financing transactions.
  • Proven ability to handle complex financial structures and transaction documents.
  • High level of organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the Florida Bar, or eligibility for admission to the Florida Bar.

Certifications:

  • Licensed attorney in good standing with the Florida Bar or ability to gain admission.

Skills:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-level analytical abilities with attention to detail.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills in transactional law.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
