Job Overview: A law firm in Riverside, CA, is seeking a skilled Family Law Attorney to represent clients in various family law matters and ensure the effective and efficient resolution of cases through litigation and negotiation.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in family law cases, including divorce, child custody, child support, and adoption.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to prepare case strategies.
  • Draft and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Prepare for and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Manage case files, including organizing documents, maintaining deadlines, and docketing.

  • Provide oral advocacy in court proceedings and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the California State Bar and in good standing.
  • Proven experience in family law practice.
  • Strong understanding of family law statutes, regulations, and court procedures.
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple cases and prioritize tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and negotiations.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

Preferred Certifications:
