Duties:

  • Client Intake & First Meeting:
    • Build trust and show compassion with clients.
    • Document facts pertinent to liability, damages, and coverage.
    • Outline client and office action items for case posture.
  • Investigation:
    • Lead investigations to develop strong trial-ready cases.
    • Assess insurance coverage and collect critical evidence.
  • Negotiation:
    • Prepare cases for trial, evaluating full settlement value.
    • Maintain relationships with adjusters and negotiate aggressively.
    • File lawsuits and guide clients through the litigation process when needed.
  • Litigation:
    • Prepare pleadings and discovery for lawsuits.
    • Strategize and execute trial preparations, mediation, or arbitration.
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Review and approve correspondence prepared by team members.
    • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient case progress.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of personal injury law and litigation processes.
  • Ability to effectively manage cases from intake to resolution.
  • Exceptional negotiation and trial preparation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, adjusters, and other professionals.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active state bar license (Alabama preferred).
  • Certification in personal injury law (optional, but beneficial).

Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication.
  • Negotiation and strategic planning abilities.
  • Litigation and trial preparation expertise.
  • Ability to handle high-volume caseloads.
