Job Overview:

Duties:

  • Represent clients in legal matters involving construction transactions and litigation.
  • Handle commercial and residential real estate law cases.
  • Conduct business litigation and transactional work.
  • Engage in substantial deposition and law and motion practice for mid-level attorneys.
  • Manage cases involving significant deposition, motion practice, and trial experience for senior attorneys.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to deliver excellent service.
  • Stay active in industry-related organizations and continue to develop a leadership presence in the field.

Requirements:

  • Texas State Bar License (preferred).
  • For mid-level attorneys: significant experience with depositions and law and motion practices.
  • For experienced attorneys: substantial trial experience, in addition to depositions and law and motion practice.
  • A high level of professional integrity, passion for law, and commitment to client advocacy.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong academic credentials are a plus.
  • Judicial clerkships and/or board certification in construction law are highly valued.

Certifications:

  • Texas State Bar License (preferred).
  • Board certification in construction law is a strong plus but not required.

Skills:

  • Expertise in construction law, real estate law, and business litigation.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage complex legal cases and collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Proven ability to handle trials (for senior-level attorneys).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
