Job Overview:

The Real Estate Associate Attorney will handle various commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, title, land use, rights of way, construction contracts, and loan documents. The ideal candidate should have 2-6 years of experience in a top-tier law firm and excellent academic credentials. Strong written and oral communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment are essential.

Duties:

  • Conducting legal research and analysis related to real estate transactions and issues.
  • Drafting and reviewing commercial real estate documents, including purchase agreements, leases, and financing documents.
  • Negotiating terms and conditions of real estate transactions on behalf of clients.
  • Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on real estate matters.
  • Assisting with due diligence investigations for real estate transactions.
  • Representing clients in real estate-related litigation matters, if necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate and organized case files and documentation.

Requirements:

  • 2-6 years of experience in a top-tier law firm.
  • Experience in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and sales, development, leasing, title, land use, rights of way, construction contracts, and loan documents.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent academic record.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the State Bar in Montana or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.

Education:
