Job Overview:
A well-established law firm in Miami, FL is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Attorney to join their Personal Injury team. This is an exciting opportunity for an attorney with a passion for personal injury law and a proven track record in handling complex litigation cases. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish and have a strong background in all phases of personal injury litigation, including trial preparation, discovery, and mediation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, including premises liability, negligent security, automobile negligence, wrongful death, and catastrophic injuries
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Propound and respond to discovery requests
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Draft and argue motions related to discovery and dispositive issues
• Lead mediations and arbitrations, advocating for clients' best interests
• Prepare and participate in all stages of the trial, including direct and cross-examinations of witnesses
• Prepare lay and expert witnesses for testimony at trial

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in personal injury litigation
• Bilingual in English and Spanish
• Strong ability to draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and handle complex litigation matters
• Experience in managing personal injury cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries and wrongful death
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida
