Pre Suit Attorney- Personal Injury

Job Overview: A well-established personal injury law firm is seeking a Pre-Suit Attorney to manage personal injury cases at their Jacksonville Beach and Tampa offices. The attorney will be responsible for gathering key documents and evidence, negotiating settlement offers, and drafting demand letters. This is a full-time role that offers an opportunity to work closely with clients, insurance companies, and medical professionals to ensure clients receive the best possible outcomes.

Location:

• Tampa, FL

Duties:

• Manage and negotiate personal injury cases with insurance companies

• Handle a full caseload, ensuring each case is moving forward efficiently

• Supervise a dedicated, full-time legal assistant to manage case files and documentation

• Establish initial contact with clients and maintain ongoing communication throughout the case

• Conduct thorough investigations for each case, gathering and analyzing all necessary documents and information

• Verify insurance coverage and liability issues, maintaining communication with insurance providers

• Oversee and coordinate client medical care while communicating with both clients and medical professionals

• Schedule medical appointments and explain procedures and related documentation to clients

• Monitor and review medical records to track the progress of cases

• Organize and maintain case files in preparation for demand writers

Requirements:

• Active member of the Florida Bar Association in good standing

• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to empathize with clients and maintain effective communication during challenging times

• Determination to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Consistent attendance, reliability, and integrity

• Bilingual skills are a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Florida Bar in good standing
