A law firm seeks a motivated and experienced Civil Litigation and Transactional Attorney to join its growing team in San Diego, CA. The firm handles a wide range of legal matters, providing attorneys with a dynamic environment to hone their skills and advance their careers. This is an exciting opportunity for candidates with 2-7 years of experience in civil litigation and transactional law to work closely with a collaborative team in a hybrid work setting.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in civil litigation matters, including contract disputes, business litigation, and real estate issues.
  • Advise clients on transactional legal matters, such as business formations, contract negotiations, and other corporate transactions.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, contracts, and agreements.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys, paralegals, and support staff on case strategy and legal research.
  • Manage a caseload and handle legal matters from inception through resolution.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategic advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contribute to business development efforts and firm growth.

Requirements:

  • Active California Bar license (required).
  • 2-7 years of experience in civil litigation and transactional law (preferred, but open to highly experienced applicants).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to legal work.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining high-quality work products.
  • A team player who enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a proactive attitude toward client service.

Education:

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active California Bar license (required).
