A law firm in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in health care and life science (HCLS) law. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience and a substantive understanding of legal issues related to the HCLS industry, including compliance, regulatory advice, fraud and abuse, transactional matters, reimbursement, clinical research, and internal investigations. The role requires comfort and experience working in a team atmosphere, coupled with excellent academic credentials.

 

Duties:

  • Handle legal issues related to the health care and life science (HCLS) industry.
  • Provide compliance and regulatory advice to clients.
  • Address matters related to fraud and abuse in the HCLS sector.
  • Work on transactional matters within the HCLS field.
  • Provide legal guidance on reimbursement and clinical research.
  • Conduct internal investigations as needed.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in health care and life science (HCLS) law.
  • Substantive background and significant experience in HCLS legal issues.
  • Comfortable working in a team atmosphere.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
