Environmental Attorney

A law firm in Morristown is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Attorney with a focus on environmental law, including litigation, regulatory, or transactional matters. The ideal candidate must be admitted in New Jersey and will bring 3-6 years of relevant experience to the firm, contributing to the handling of diverse environmental legal issues.

Duties:

• Handle a range of environmental legal matters, including litigation, regulatory compliance, and transactional issues.
• Provide legal advice on environmental laws, regulations, and compliance.
• Conduct due diligence for environmental aspects in transactions.
• Represent clients in environmental litigation proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the New Jersey bar.
• 3-6 years of experience in environmental law, with a focus on litigation, regulatory, or transactional matters.
• Strong understanding of federal and state environmental laws and regulations.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and tasks.

Education:
