A law firm in Duluth, GA is seeking a Partner Support Associate Attorney to assist in managing complex litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in all stages of casework, from initial preparation through to trial, and will work closely with a highly experienced partner. This role requires strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume litigation environment, and a willingness to learn and contribute effectively to a team.

Duties:

  • Provide comprehensive legal support to a partner in managing and litigating complex defense cases.
  • Assist in all aspects of defense litigation, including trial preparation and case management.
  • Conduct thorough research and briefing on complex litigation issues.
  • Prepare, file, and argue motions in court.
  • Participate actively in the litigation process, including taking and defending depositions, participating in mediation, and supporting trial preparation.
  • Draft and prepare legal reports, documents, and case summaries.
  • Collaborate with the partner and other team members to develop legal strategies and case plans.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and case deadlines effectively.

Requirements:

  • Licensed to practice law in Georgia.
  • Preferably 0-3 years of litigation experience, with a focus on insurance defense being highly desirable.
  • Additional licensure in Tennessee, Alabama, South Carolina, or Florida is considered a plus.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to practice law in the state of Georgia.
