Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking a highly skilled Associate Attorney for various practice areas, including Trusts & Estates Litigation. This position offers a unique opportunity for experienced attorneys with a minimum of 5 years of practice. The firm provides competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package. Location:

Duties:

  • Handle complex Trusts & Estates litigation matters.
  • Represent clients in court and at hearings.
  • Draft legal documents, including petitions, motions, and responses.
  • Provide counsel to clients on trust and estate-related disputes.
  • Manage caseloads and maintain effective communication with clients.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on high-stakes cases.
  • Advise clients on the best course of action in estate planning and probate matters.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of estate law and related regulations.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on Trusts & Estates litigation.
  • Active Bar membership in at least one state (California preferred).
  • Proven experience in managing complex legal cases with minimal supervision.
  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Ability to represent clients effectively in court and other legal proceedings.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication and client management skills.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Bar membership (California preferred).
  • Additional certifications related to trusts and estates or litigation are a plus.

Skills:

  • Expertise in Trusts & Estates litigation and dispute resolution.
  • Strong legal writing and drafting skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to estate planning and probate.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Ability to manage a full caseload and meet deadlines efficiently.
  • Excellent problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
