Job Title: Probate Attorney

Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in Raleigh, NC is looking for an experienced Probate Attorney to join their legal team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive expertise in probate and estate matters, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional client service in the state of North Carolina.

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on various probate and estate issues
  • Draft legal documents, including briefs, pleadings, appeals, contracts, and agreements
  • Represent clients in court or before government agencies
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on probate and estate matters
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients
  • Stay updated with changes in legislation and regulations

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Probate Attorney managing a high volume of cases
  • Admitted to practice law in North Carolina
  • Strong understanding of probate and estate law
  • Proficiency in legal writing, drafting, and research
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree

Certifications:

  • North Carolina State Bar license (Required)
