This role involves representing clients in Social Security Disability, Veterans Disability, and Long-Term Disability cases. The ideal candidate will handle hearings, write legal briefs for federal court, and assist clients throughout the disability claims process. Duties

  • Represent clients in Social Security Disability hearings and proceedings.
  • Draft legal briefs for federal court related to disability claims.
  • Provide legal advice and counsel to clients regarding their disability claims.
  • Manage and organize case files and client documentation.
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings, including providing oral arguments.
  • Research legal issues related to disability law and prepare responses accordingly.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and other stakeholders regarding case developments.

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing in the state of Florida.
  • Experience practicing disability law, specifically Social Security Disability law (preferred but not required).
  • Strong writing and research skills with the ability to prepare detailed legal briefs and documents.
  • Ability to represent clients in federal court and during hearings.
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple cases.
  • Strong verbal communication skills for client interaction and court representation.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
