Litigation Associate Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to manage and resolve complex litigation cases. This role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in legal analysis, defense strategy, and client communication.

Duties:

• Analyze legal and factual issues; develop and present defense strategies.
• Prepare and draft pleadings, discovery requests, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct depositions and provide timely legal advice to clients.
• Liaise with clients’ adjusters and representatives; coordinate with courts, witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Manage assigned cases efficiently; make court appearances as required.
• Assist in preparing and presenting witnesses and evidence at trials and hearings.
• Log and record billable hours accurately; meet monthly billing expectations (175 hours).

Requirements:

• 5+ years of litigation and insurance defense experience.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-approved law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar and/or Nevada State Bar.
• Proven ability to manage a high caseload with varying deadlines.

Education & Certifications:
