A reputable law firm is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Associate Attorney to join their Insurance and Reinsurance Litigation Practice Group in Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation, specifically within professional liability, general liability, and directors & officers insurance policies. Duties:

• Represent clients in insurance and reinsurance disputes, with a focus on coverage issues related to professional liability, general liability, and directors & officers policies.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients on risk management and insurance coverage matters.
• Draft and review legal documents including motions, briefs, and pleadings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation and litigation strategy.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop case strategies and solutions.
• Manage litigation matters from inception through resolution, including trials and settlements.
• Stay updated on the latest legal developments, trends, and case law affecting insurance and reinsurance litigation.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience in insurance coverage and commercial litigation.
• Strong background in handling professional liability, general liability, and directors' & officers' insurance matters.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage complex litigation matters independently.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the State Bar of Texas, in good standing.
