This role involves strategic guidance to dynamic and innovative healthcare clients through various transactional phases, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital investments, and joint ventures. The successful candidate will assist clients with corporate and organizational matters, including formations, capital raises, and contract negotiations.

Duties:

  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys to deliver critical guidance on strategic transactions for healthcare clients.
  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisition transactions, venture capital, and private equity investments.
  • Support clients with corporate and organizational workflow, including company formations, capital raises, and operational strategies.
  • Negotiate and draft contracts and other legal documents related to transactional matters.
  • Communicate regularly with clients and third-party advisors to address issues and provide updates.
  • Take ownership of projects and ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support transactional activities.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and private equity, specifically within the healthcare sector.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proven capability to work effectively independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects and interact directly with clients and advisors.

Education:

  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to the California Bar.

Skills:

  • Expertise in healthcare transactional law, including mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, and private equity.
  • Proficient in drafting and negotiating complex contracts.
