Job Overview:

The Insurance Defense Attorney will be responsible for handling the full litigation process, including drafting, writing, researching, and effectively communicating with clients. They will move cases through the litigation process, including depositions, motion practice, and trials. Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills are essential for success in this role.

Duties:

• Manage the full litigation process for insurance defense cases
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the litigation process
• Conduct depositions, motion practice, and trials as necessary
• Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to move cases forward
• Maintain organized case files and documentation
• Meet deadlines and manage caseload efficiently

Requirements:

• 0-15 years of litigation experience
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Recently taken the PA Bar Exam or NJ Bar exam

Education/Certifications:

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania or New Jersey
