The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in personal injury litigation, a proven track record of successful outcomes, and a passion for advocating for plaintiffs' rights. This role involves strategizing with staff, collaborating with management to enhance procedures and training, and actively participating in all phases of litigation.

Job Description

Duties:

• Try several cases a year, from pre-trial preparation to court proceedings.
• Strategize and work with staff on litigation cases to ensure the best possible outcomes.
• Collaborate with management to establish procedures and standards to maximize case outcomes.
• Develop training and development paths for staff in coordination with management.
• Work closely with management to build and maintain an outstanding litigation team.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, demands, depositions, and mediation briefs.
• Conduct and participate in hearings, court appearances, and trial dockets.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of recent trends and legal changes that affect personal injury practice procedures.

Requirements:

• Must have Plaintiff Personal Injury experience.
• Extensive litigation experience with a track record of successful outcomes.
• Active FL State Bar license.
• In-depth knowledge of recent trends and legal changes in personal injury law.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and positively influence colleagues.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association.

Skills:

• Strong litigation skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in legal research and analysis.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Ability to draft and review complex legal documents with attention to detail.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient in using legal software and technology for case management.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor and train junior staff members.
