A leading law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Corporate Healthcare Transactional Associate Attorney to join their highly regarded healthcare team. Duties:

  • Advise clients on mergers and acquisitions, asset and equity acquisitions, venture capital, private equity investments, and joint ventures within the healthcare industry
  • Assist with corporate and organizational tasks including formations, capital raises, operational strategy, and contract negotiations
  • Work with senior partners to guide clients on strategic healthcare transactions
  • Handle day-to-day corporate matters and provide legal counsel on operational and regulatory concerns
  • Participate in regular career development training, learning healthcare-specific transactional laws and regulations
  • Develop client relationships and gain experience in managing a practice

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity within the healthcare sector
  • Proven ability to take ownership of projects and manage deadlines effectively
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate directly with clients and third-party advisors
  • Candidates must be admitted to the bar in the state in which they are applying

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active membership in the state bar

Skills:

  • Expertise in healthcare mergers and acquisitions, private equity, and venture capital transactions
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical abilities
  • Proficiency in corporate law, including company formation, capital raising, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
