A law firm is seeking a Mid-Level Public M&A Associate Attorney for their Boston office.

 

Job Overview:

The Mid-Level Public M&A Associate Attorney will focus on M&A transactions involving public companies, both on the sell-side and buy-side, and related securities laws. The ideal candidate should have general M&A and transactional experience, outstanding academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and excellent written and verbal communication skills. Relevant Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly) and a deal sheet are required.

 

Duties:

  • Handle M&A transactions involving public companies
  • Provide legal advice on related securities laws
  • Draft and review transactional documents
  • Conduct due diligence and analyze transactional risks
  • Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Assist with case management and strategy

 

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of experience in M&A and transactional law
  • Relevant Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly)
  • Deal sheet required
  • Outstanding academic credentials
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

 

Certifications:

Admission to the State Bar in the relevant jurisdiction

 

Skills:

  • Proficiency in M&A and transactional law
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
