Job Overview: A law firm in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Junior Complex Commercial Contracts Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will assist in drafting and negotiating various commercial contracts while receiving mentoring to develop their skills and take on increased responsibilities.

Duties:

  • Draft and negotiate various commercial contracts, including manufacturing and supply agreements, distribution agreements, services agreements, consulting agreements, NDAs, development and collaboration agreements, and reseller agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to contract matters.
  • Assist senior attorneys in managing client relationships and transactions.
  • Review and revise contract templates and forms.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the state bar in North Carolina or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in complex commercial contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Strong understanding of contract law principles and commercial transactions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
