Veterans Disability Attorney

Job Overview: A law firm in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a highly experienced Veteran's Disability Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of VA disability representation experience and possess the ability to effectively represent clients in their VA disability claims. Duties:

• Analyze client cases and interpret relevant laws in preparation for client hearings.
• Conduct pre-hearings with clients to review case information and advise them on court processes.
• Evaluate findings and develop strategies and arguments for the presentation of VA disability cases.
• Represent clients in matters related to their VA disability claims.
• Assist VA team members by addressing questions and client concerns.
• Attend hearings to advocate for clients.
• Draft concise and effective briefs for legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in VA disability representation.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the State Bar of North Carolina.
• Proficient knowledge of VA disability laws and regulations.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active state bar membership in North Carolina.
