Job Overview:

A rapidly growing law firm in Fort Worth, TX is seeking an experienced Family Law Attorney with at least 3 years of family law experience. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage a full caseload of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and protective orders. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to navigate complex legal issues, provide excellent client service, and be an integral part of a collaborative team environment.

Location:

  • Fort Worth, TX

Duties:

  • Manage a full caseload of family law cases, including divorce, SAPCRs, protective orders, and adoptions.
  • Draft and review pleadings, motions, and other legal documents in family law cases.
  • Represent clients in court, including litigating contested hearings when negotiations are unsuccessful.
  • Develop and implement client-centered legal strategies tailored to achieve the best possible outcomes for clients.
  • Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel that seek fair and amicable resolutions.
  • Provide legal advice to clients to minimize stress and risk throughout the proceedings.
  • Collaborate with the legal team and support staff to move cases efficiently through the litigation process.
  • Advise clients on non-legal matters to help them plan for life after their case is resolved.

Requirements:

  • Active Texas Bar License.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law, with proven success in areas such as divorce, custody, and protective orders.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and complete tasks independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with empathy, creativity, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • High energy and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active Texas Bar License.

  • Expertise in family law litigation and negotiations.
