A reputable law firm is actively seeking a motivated Associate Attorney to join its expanding Connecticut insurance defense practice group. This full-time role offers flexibility with the potential for a fully remote work arrangement. The successful candidate will work under partner supervision, manage a dynamic caseload, and engage in court appearances and depositions.

Duties

• Manage a caseload within the insurance defense practice under partner supervision
• Draft motions, status reports, and case documentation
• Conduct court appearances and depositions as necessary
• Collaborate with team members and other legal professionals on cases
• Regularly communicate case progress and updates to clients and partners

Requirements

• Licensed to practice in Connecticut; New York Bar admission is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in insurance defense litigation within Connecticut State courts
• Proven experience handling depositions independently

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Bar License in Connecticut
