Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking a mid-level associate to join its Business Law practice, specializing in mergers and acquisitions (M&A). This is an excellent opportunity for a transactional attorney with at least 4 years of experience to handle high-stakes transactions, draft key M&A documents, and conduct due diligence in a collaborative environment. 

Location:

  • Phoenix, AZ

Duties:

  • Draft and review documents related to mergers and acquisitions.
  • Conduct due diligence and assist in transactional negotiations.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure high-quality legal support throughout the transaction process.
  • Advise clients on complex business law matters and assist with strategic planning.
  • Provide guidance on legal and regulatory matters related to M&A.
  • Support senior attorneys in large-scale, high-profile transactions.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in M&A or related business law practice.
  • Proven track record in handling M&A transactions with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the state bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills:

  • Exceptional drafting and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
