Associate Attorney for Houston office

A law firm seeks a dedicated Associate Attorney to join its vibrant team in Houston, TX. This full-time position is ideal for a legal professional ready to engage in various litigation matters while contributing to client development and marketing initiatives.

Duties

• Practice law under the supervision of experienced attorneys in diverse areas, including construction defect, premises liability, product liability, professional liability, labor and employment, medical malpractice, and cyber liability.
• Exercise independent judgment and discretion in handling substantive functions related to litigation matters.
• Maintain strict attention to detail throughout all aspects of work.
• Engage in client interactions, ensuring positive relationships and confidentiality in all client matters.
• Participate in the firm’s marketing efforts and contribute to client development initiatives.
• Travel as necessary to meet with clients and attend court appearances.

Requirements

• Must be admitted to practice law in the State of Texas.
• Demonstrated ability to manage litigation tasks with a high degree of professionalism and competence.
• Strong focus on detail and the ability to concentrate on complex legal issues.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to foster strong client relationships.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
