The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional drafting and analytical skills, and a proven track record of working with private equity sponsors. Duties:

  • Drafting and negotiating purchase and merger agreements.
  • Creating and reviewing LLC and LP agreements.
  • Handling ancillary transaction documents.
  • Meeting day-to-day requirements of private equity fund and portfolio company clients.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-5 years of private equity and M&A experience.
  • Strong drafting, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Previous large firm experience working with private equity sponsors.
  • Excellent academic credentials.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the relevant jurisdiction.

  • Project management skills.
  • Familiarity with private equity fund operations.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
