A law firm in Irvine, CA, is seeking an experienced Senior Employment Class Action Attorney to advocate for clients in employee misclassification, overtime wage violations, time-shaving, failure to provide rest and meal breaks, and other worker rights violation cases. The ideal candidate will have superior analytical skills, excel in a fast-paced environment, and possess a meticulous attention to detail.

Duties:

  • Fight for clients to win the largest settlements and verdicts achievable in various worker rights violation cases.
  • Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Develop strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Develop and form arguments and represent clients in wage and hour matters.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
  • Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.
  • Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure effective case management.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and legal advice.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience in Employment Class Action litigation.
  • Superior analytical and legal research skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to negotiate, research, and communicate effectively.
  • Ability to exercise common sense in complex situations.

Education and Certifications:
